Mountain Mum Decorative Block

This wooden block was hand cut and sanded by me from a leftover plank I had after building a workbench! I use a reciprocating saw and a hand sander to cut them and sand them smooth with 220 grit sandpaper.

West Virginia, Mountain Mum(ma), take me home, country roads.

The background of this painting was inspired from a hike I took with my fiancé. We stopped at Nymph Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, and the mountains reflected beautifully in the still waters of the small lake. The golden mum I put on top of it was spotted in a lovely flower pot in Loveland, Colorado, and reminded me of the shapes in the water.

This block can be used as a decoration on any surface in any room!

Sealed with Krylon UV-Resistant Clear Acrylic Coating and Krylon Crystal Clear Acrylic Coating.
